Principal’s News Week of April 13th

Our school will have a lot of fun this week as we transform our gym into a high school for our production of High School Musical Jr. this Wednesday and Thursday night at 6:30pm. Special thanks go out to our music teacher, Mr. Don Vecchione, and the dozens of students who have been putting in hours before school, after school and during weekends to help make this production happen. From the actors to the stage hands, it has been an “all hands on deck” production and I cannot wait to see the show!

This Wednesday during our school Mass at 8:30am, we will have an Anointing of the Sick presentation for our middle school math and religion teacher, Mrs. Debbie Grbavac, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Her last day will be this Friday, April 17th. Plans for a teacher to take her role for the remainder of the year are close to being final. We will send information regarding the new hire towards the end of the week. Additionally, our PTC will host a reception following the Mass to recognize her for her 20+ years being a part of the faculty. Thank you Mrs. Grbavac for all you have done, and will continue to do as a parishioner, for our SJF family. You will be missed!
