Principal’s News Week of Oct. 27th

Fall is in full swing at SJF and we have quite the week planned! Friday our school will celebrate Halloween. We have a number of fun events planned:
● Costumes: Students may wear their halloween costumes to school, however weapons, blood or masks are not allowed. (Wigs and face paint are OK) If a student will not be wearing a costume, they are welcome to wear the SJF school uniform.
● “Family Pumpkin Carving” contest: You can submit your decorated masterpiece to the tables placed in the outside breezeway of school by 8:10 a.m. This year the following pumpkin themes will be judged: Funniest, Scariest, and Most Creative. Please pick up your pumpkin at dismissal.
● Assembly at 1:15pm: The Student Board will be sponsoring a Halloween assembly in our gym. Pumpkin carving winners will be announced at the assembly.
● Class Parties: Many classes will be hosting class parties the last hour of the school day. Please check with your child’s classroom teacher or room parent regarding party details.

As you are wrapping up your Halloween festivities this weekend, don’t forget to reserve your spot at our upcoming Auction the following Saturday, November 7th. The silent auction begins at 5:30pm and the dinner/live auction starts at 7pm. For tickets, logon to https://sjfs.ejoinme.org/tickets
