Principal’s News Week of Feb. 2nd

MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Happy National Catholic Schools Week! On behalf of all at St. John Fisher School, thank you for being our partner in your child’s education! By committing to our school, you are providing a gift for your children that will shape their future and your investment will last their lifetime.

Tomorrow we welcome a special guest for our Grandparent and Special Friends Day, Archbishop Sample, who will concelebrate our Mass with Father Richard at 10am. To help unite our visitors with the students, we are asking visitors to come and pick up their student from their homeroom classroom at 9:40am (versus meeting in the church). Students who are not picked up by 9:55am will head to the church with their homeroom teacher. Following Mass (rain or shine) we will head to the St. Peregrine statue, located outside the kindergarten exit, for a blessing. After the blessing, we will enjoy a lunch prepared by our kitchen crew, book sale in the library and art walk through our halls. Classes will resume at 12:45pm.

Wrapping up our National Catholic School Week festivities we will be having a family group activity Thursday afternoon, a faith formation inservice for teachers on Friday (no school for students-all day extended care available) and Men’s Club will be hosting a family BINGO night Saturday from 5:30pm-8:30pm in our school cafeteria. See below for details regarding pre-ordering.

Have a lovely three day weekend and thanks again for your commitment to Catholic education!
