With the weather in spring/summer mode and track season well underway, let’s get ready to Run With It! Our Jogathon Kickoff Assembly will be this Friday at 2pm. Students will bring home Pledge packets that day with information on an exciting new “Pledge Star” web site to both generate personalized invitations and track pledge levels. Now that the sun is out and we are ⅔ of the way completed with the academic year, we have noticed some uniform items have been “well loved” since September, particularly when it comes to the popular “spirit wear” hooded sweatshirt. In following the uniform policy (pg 14): “All uniform items must be clean, in good repair and appropriately sized. No ripped clothing is allowed.” If your hoodie is ripped (including thumb holes in the sleeve and/or a ripped neckline), please repair and/or replace ( If replacing, be rest assured that this style of “spirit wear” will be allowed for next academic year too. This weekend our parish is hosting a two-day retreat with Immaculée Ilibagiza, a Rwandan Genocide survivor with a powerful message of mercy and hope through prayer, Friday, April 29, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 30, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. You can register at and admission is $57.00 per person (2 for $95.00). Additionally, this Sunday our 2nd grade class will be receiving the sacrament of First Communion at 2pm. All are welcome to join for the Mass and reception following in the cafeteria.
