Everything You Wanted To Know
Week of April 16, 2018

A Note From Our Principal:
As we get into spring we are already thinking ahead to our next academic year. We are transitioning new students into our community through our spend-a-day program and are also beginning to firm up our faculty and staff for next year as well. As we look ahead to next year, it’s bittersweet that we will be saying goodbye to Mrs. Kelly Gray, our K-8 PE and 3-8 Health Teacher. For the past 10 years she has been a positive role model for our students helping instill the value of good sportsmanship, teamwork and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Mrs. Gray is looking forward to staying at home with her two little children and continuing the success of her Rodan and Fields company. We will miss you Mrs. Gray!

As we look at total enrollment, we are looking to fill out a few spots in various grades. To help support our marketing efforts, our enrollment incentive program for the 2018-19 academic year is a free week of summer camp for 1 child (eligible for this summer, 2018) for those families referring new students to K-4 or $250 for those referring students to 5-8 grade.

Thanks for supporting our great community and school!

The Bettger family has done a great job scheduling SJF families for their yearly playground duty, but with their eighth grader graduating, we need an a new volunteer to take on this task. This position involves scheduling a family for playground duty each day based on the Playground Duty Signup Sheets that all families submit. It’s a great job for someone who is not typically available to be on campus during the school day. Contact the school office if you would like to learn more.
