This final trimester always seems to go by so quickly and as we review the April, May and June calendar, we have many events on the horizon you may be interested in attending and/or volunteering for to complete your Family Volunteer Hours. Here are a few suggestions, organized by date, along with the name/email of the coordinator for those events:

PLAYGROUND DUTY:
Playground duty is from 11:25am - 1:00pm. If there is a conflict with your scheduled playground duty date, please notify Holly Hunt, our playground duty coordinator, as far in advance as possible so that she can reschedule your duty. Thank you for your help in the lunchroom and on the playground.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT:
Parish Money Counter: The church is still looking for one more volunteer to meet weekly to count the collections. The counters meet on Tuesdays at 9:30am and it takes approximately 1 hour. Please contact Elizabeth Hamilton in the parish office if you are interested in helping this vital ministry.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS & SOUP SUPPER
Our last Stations of the Cross is this Friday at 6pm with a Soup Supper afterwards in the Corrado Center. This year’s Confirmation students will be leading the Stations and the Men’s Club will be providing the soup.
STATE OF THE SCHOOL SLIDES
Shortly before spring break Father Valentine, Merrit Holub and the members of our School Advisory Council (SAC) and Parent Teacher Club (PTC) hosted our “Cardinal Chat - State of the School” presentation and discussion. For those unable to attend, you can find the slides attached. FINAL MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE OF THE YEAR
Our final middle school dance of the year will be held at Holy Trinity on Friday, April 25th from 6-8pm. Our students can enjoy a fancy night out on the town and get dressed up as the theme is “Paris at Night.” Registration can be found HERE, Code of Conduct to be signed can be found HERE and all details can be found on the attached flyer.
FREE CPR CLASS FOR ADULTS ON APRIL 25TH
On Friday, April 25th from 10-11:30am there will be a free adult CPR class that OHSU is sponsoring in partnership with the AHA. This class is located at Bridge Meadows (8502 N Wayland Ave, Portland, OR 97203).
ALOHA SUMMER! PARENTS’ MORNING OUT
This is Ms. Strine’s final Parent’s Morning Out of the school year. Join us on Saturday, May 17 from 10:00am to 3:00pm for Hawaiian themed games and activities. Don’t wait to sign up because space is limited! Additional information is on the attached flyer.
