SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO
Everything You Want to Know
Week of June 5, 2023
FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
As we head towards the final days of the school year, here are a few events you will want to have on your calendar:
Monday, June 12th: Field Day from 8:45am-11:15am: students have athletic free dress and we encourage them to bring a change of clothes since many of the stations involve water and it looks to be nice and warm! Our 8th grade vs faculty volleyball game will be at 2:00pm in the gym (or outside - weather permitting) and we wrap up the day with the 8th grade clap out at 3:00pm.
Tuesday, June 13th: New Alumni Luncheon for our graduates at 1pm in the CFC and the graduation Mass and ceremony at 6:00pm in the church
Wednesday, June 14th: Final Mass of the year at 12:30pm - we are starting early as we will be honoring our 4 retirees after Mass. Additionally, we will host a community ice cream social on the lower playground after school and all are invited.
Friday, June 16th: Last day of school! This is a “free dress” day with dismissal at noon. Extended care will be closed.
Additionally, this is your official “last call” to log in your Volunteer Hours for the school year. Please log into your FACTS account and log your hours by this Thursday, 6/8. You can log your hours under “Family” on the left side of your Family Portal. Each family is required to complete 30 hours (20 hours for 1st year families). Bills for unfulfilled volunteer hours will be sent to families early next week.
As we wrap up these final two weeks, it’s time to make sure we are ready for the 2023-24 academic year. Here are a few important items you may want to reference:
Tuition: You should receive an email from FACTS later today finalizing your payment plan for the school year. If you have questions and/or would like an additional copy of your tuition agreement, please contact Kim Cox, bookkeeper, at [email protected]
Calendar: Attached to the SAM is the 23-24 one-page calendar. We will plug these dates into Google later this month. Should you want to sync this calendar to your Google account, you can access that calendar via THIS LINK.
School Supply List: As you unpack your child’s backpack this June, make sure to reference the attached School Supply List on what to keep/buy new for next year.
Both the one-page calendar and the supply list for the 23-24 school year are also available on your FACTS Family Portal under Resource Documents.
