If there is a conflict with your scheduled playground duty date, please notify Holly Hunt, our playground duty coordinator, as far in advance as possible so that she can reschedule your duty. Thank you for your help in the lunchroom and on the playground.
CARDINAL NEWS:
Hot lunch, now 5 days a week thanks to HOSA Mexican Monday’s, is up and running! You can easily order and pay through your FACTS family portal. Directions are located in FACTS under “Resource Documents” and questions can be directed to [email protected]. Orders are due by 10am each Wednesday for the following week. From burritos and hamburgers to pizza and a fresh salad bar, the lunch program has something for everyone.
SCHOOL PICTURE DAY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED
School picture day and the school picture retake day have both been rescheduled with Lifetouch Photography:
Picture Day: Monday Oct. 16 - Free Dress for students. Parents may use the same flyer and event code for picture orders.
Picture Retake Day: Monday Nov. 20 - Free Dress only if you are having your picture taken–or retaken. Lifetouch will provide new flyers and a new event code for this retake day.
EXTENDED CARE NEWS
Parents, please remember to sign your child up in advance each month for Extended Care. The addition of our preschool students to the aftercare program changes our supervisor to student ratio from 1:15 to 1:10, meaning the program often cannot accommodate drop-in students. The October 2023 Extended Care Calendar is attached to this SAM and can also be found on your FACTS Family Portal under Resource Documents.
Extended Care will also be open on our no-school days this month:
Friday 10/13 Archdiocesan Inservice
Thursday 10/26 Parent/Teacher Conferences
Friday 10/27 Parent/Teacher Conferences
The cost is $45 per child and advance signup is required. Please contact Drew Boyer with questions.
