Immunizations are required by state law for children and students in attendance at public and private schools, preschools, childcare facilities, and Head Start programs in Oregon. By law, on the first day of school, all children must show proof of one dose of all required immunizations. Exception: Students who transfer from another school in the United States have 30 days to have their immunization records transferred to the new school.
Oregon Senate Bill 895 and Oregon Administrative Rules 333-050-0010 through 0140 requires that schools and children’s facilities share immunization and exemption rates. Therefore, for the 2020-21 Academic Year, St. John Fisher School has a 99.0% immunization rate.
