SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO
Everything You Want to Know
Week of March 7, 2022
FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
Additionally, last week’s Literacy Fair brought our community together to celebrate the academic success of our students. As we embark on more community events this year, look forward to news of our night at the Portland Winterhawks (ticket information attached and below), Grandparents’ and Special Friends Mass, Living Stations of the Cross, May Crowning and more as the year progresses.
Finally, this Monday, March 14 marks the date when masks will become optional in school. As we enter this new stage of the pandemic, transitioning to "pre-pandemic" habits, it will be important that we ALL work together to assist with the varied comfort levels that our students, faculty, staff and families will have with these changes. Our faculty and staff have taken the time to address equity among the community as we make this transition to help ensure all, masked and unmasked, feel supported in their family decision. Please take a moment to talk with your child(ren) regarding their feelings about this change and please let me or your child’s classroom teacher know if you have any questions/comments/concerns regarding this updated policy.
