SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO
Everything You Want to Know
Week of May 9, 2022
FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
What’s that sound??? Why it’s Greased Lightnin’! Tonight and tomorrow night at 6:30pm our gymnasium will take you back to Rydell High where characters such as Danny, Sandy and Rizzo will bring you back to your youth. Families are welcome to attend this free production. Huge thanks go out to Mr. Vecchione, our music teacher, Mrs. Connie Loberg, our 2nd grade assistant and costume extraordinaire, and our 5th - 8th grade actors and actresses for all their hard work on this production. It’s not to be missed!
This Friday we have a noon dismissal for the faculty and staff to begin preparations for the 2022-23 academic year. To help us with this process, you can anticipate your child bringing home their tuition statement and the list of registration materials you will need to access on the FACTS family portal to complete registration. Please complete these tasks by Friday, May 27th.
As we look ahead to graduating our 8th grade in June, we will also graduate Mr. Osborne, our 5th - 8th math and art teacher as he begins a new career opportunity. We are in the process of hiring a new teacher and will communicate with middle school families once the hiring process is complete.
The Jogathon is well underway! After just 1 week of collecting pledges, we are well on our way to our school goal of raising $55,000. Our class leader is Mrs. Sheridan and our second grade. To set up your easily accessible pledge page, visit PledgeStar at https://Pledgestar.com/sjf/
