A NOTE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

We sure ran for the gold this past Friday! What an amazing celebration for our entire community! Starting with the Jogathon, then moving to the Talent Show and wrapping up with the Community BBQ, our faculty, staff, students and families really brought out the love for our SJF community. Special thanks to all our volunteers, particularly our Jogathon Chairs Nora Jensen and Lauren Bailey, our Talent Show coordinator Mr. Don Vecchione and our Community BBQ coordinators Ashley Reese and Samantha Hamilton. Make sure to check our Facebook and/or Instagram pages for beautiful photos from these events.

As we head into the Memorial Day holiday weekend, here are a few items to highlight as we wrap up May:

• Friday, 5/24: Men’s Club Golf Tournament at Red Tail Golf Course. The tournament will begin at 9:00am with a shotgun start, followed by a post event awards ceremony at Cider Mill. To register, please contact Craig Miller at [email protected]

• Tuesday, 5/28: Our final “Cardinal Club” meeting will be held at the Lucky Labrador at 7pm. All are welcome to come and celebrate our successful community events this year and start to get excited about next year.

• Thursday, 5/30: Tuition for 2024-25 will be processed into your FACTS account on this day and once processed, you should receive an email from FACTS. If you would like to update your payment plan or update your bank account information, please contact Kim Cox at [email protected] before this deadline.

• Friday, 5/31: To celebrate the end of May,our students will be presenting a Living Rosary immediately following drop off in our church. Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Parents, in addition to the reminders that are in the SAM each week, you can access the Playground Duty calendar on your FACTS Family Portal under Resource Documents. Playground duty is from 11:25am -1:00pm. On your assigned day, please check in at the school office first, and then head to the Corrado Family Center. If there is a conflict with your scheduled playground duty date, please notify Holly Hunt, our playground duty coordinator, as far in advance as possible so that she can reschedule your duty. Thank you for your help in the lunchroom and on the playground.

CARDINAL CLUB

SJF Parents, please join the Cardinal Club for their final meeting of the school year at 7pm on Tuesday, May 28 at the Lucky Labrador in Multnomah Village. Cardinal Club questions?? Contact Erica Benthin

END OF YEAR FITNESS ASSESSMENTS

Mrs. Wiest still needs parent volunteers on May 29th and May 30th for end of the year fitness assessments.  On Wednesday, May 29th she needs help from 8:20-10:05 and on Thursday, May 30th from 8:15-1:30 (with a break from 12:20-1:00).
