Last week's SAC/PTC Parent Information Night was a great opportunity for us to gather as a community, catch up on the events happening around our school, and to start getting ready for the 2023-24 academic year. Attached to this week’s SAM is the powerpoint presentation from the evening. Highlights included:

In Parish Tuition Rate: $8,700 per student
Out of Parish Tuition Rate: $11,375 per student
PreK students follow same tuition structure as our Kindergarten - 8th grade
Jogathon Update
Jogathon and community BBQ will be on Friday, May 19th - please reach out to Nora Jensen or Lauren Bailey to find out how you can get involved with this fun-draiser

PLAYGROUND DUTY REMINDERS:
Playground duty is from 11:25-1:00. The March 2023 duty calendar is on your FACTS Family Portal under Resource Documents. On your assigned day, please check in at the school office and then head to the Corrado Family Center! It is important to arrive on time on your scheduled playground duty date. When you don’t show up, three different teachers must give up their lunch periods to cover the primary, intermediate, and middle school lunch recess periods. If you have a conflict with your scheduled duty date, or you are able to help out on a date that needs coverage, please contact our playground duty coordinator, Holly Hunt, at mailto:[email protected]. Thank you for helping our students in the lunchroom and on the playground.

K of C PANCAKE BREAKFAST
This coming Sunday, March 19, after the 9am and 11am Masses, there will be a pancake breakfast to benefit St. John Fisher Parish and the Knights of Columbus – Free will offerings will be accepted.
RESCHEDULED MIDDLE SCHOOL SPEAKER
The second middle school speaker for this school year has been rescheduled for Monday, March 20. Marilyn Russell with Rebuilding Together will speak to grades 6-8 in the Corrado Center.
MEN’S CLUB EASTER EGG HUNT
On Sunday, March 26th the Men’s Club will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast from 10am -Noon. The breakfast will be in the old school cafeteria with the hunt in the lower field area.
VCH SPRING BREAK BASKETBALL SKILLS CLINIC
Valley Catholic coaches and varsity players are hosting a skills clinic over spring break.
March 27-29
Cost is $100
GR. 3-8 at 9-11am

The registration fee is $225 per participant (LATE FEE: $275 Effective 3/24/2023)
If necessary, depending on current inventory: Uniform order link will be sent to registrants at a later date.
Practices will be at Valley Catholic High School on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30pm (Time may change).
Meets are on four Saturdays beginning April 15th plus the championship meets on May 13 (younger grades) and May 20-21 (older grades).

CHESS WIZARDS SPRING SESSION
The winter chess classes will end on March 22, but the spring session of Chess Wizards will start the week we return from spring break. The final session of the school year will run from April 5 - June 7 (Wednesdays from 2-3pm). Pricing information and the link for registration are on the attached flyer.
LA SALLE PREP SUMMER CAMPS
LaSalle will offer full and half-day camps for incoming 1st - 8th graders.
June 19 - July 21 - 9:00am to 4:00pm

SMA SUMMER PROGRAMS
Camps are the perfect introduction to St. Mary’s Academy. SMA summer programs are a wonderful way to add enrichment to your daughter’s summer calendar. Camps are already selling out, so don’t delay in registering!

STUDENTS4STUDENTS TUTORING
Students4Students is a tutoring program for children in grades K-8. They provide assistance in a variety of subjects including Math, Science, English, and Spanish. The tutors are all current Jesuit students, including SJF alum, Carson Kennedy (2020 graduate). Additional information at https://www.
