SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Want to Know Week of May 29, 2023 FROM THE PRINCIPAL: It’s hard to believe that Thursday is the first day of June!  It seems just yesterday we were opening the doors to another school year.  As we wind down this academic year, it provides us an opportunity to give thanks to all that have given so much to the school this year:

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Want to Know Week of May 22, 2023 FROM THE PRINCIPAL: This past Friday was such an AMAZING celebration for our entire community! Each event from the Jogathon, then moving to the Talent Show and wrapping up with the Community BBQ,really brought out the love for our SJF community. Special thanks to all our volunteers, particularly our Jogathon Chairs Nora Jensen and Lauren Bailey, our Talent Show coordinator Mr. Don Vecchione and our Community BBQ coordinators Holly Brewer and Ashley Reese. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Want to Know Week of May 15, 2023 FROM THE PRINCIPAL: This is it, the jogathon is almost here! It appears the sunny weather will be sticking around for Friday’s festivities so here are a few important reminders for the big day: Students will jog/walk for 30 minutes each. The schedule is as follows - we hope to see as many parents as possible cheering on our students, especially at the 8th graders’ “last lap”! 8:45-9:15: Kindergarten and 1st grade  9:20-9:50: 2nd and 3rd grades 

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Want to Know Week of May 8, 2023 FROM THE PRINCIPAL: Our Jogathon is off to a great start and after just 1 week of collecting pledges, we are well on our way to our school goal of raising $55,000. Currently leading our fundraising effort is our 3rd grade followed closely by 2nd and 5th. Additionally, the first class to have 100% participation earns a free dress day! To set up your easily accessible pledge page, visit PledgeStar at https://Pledgestar.com/sjf/. 

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Want to Know Week of May 1, 2023 FROM THE PRINCIPAL: Yesterday our school spirit came alive with our Jogathon kick off assembly! Our fifth grade spirit committee, led by Mrs. Dolan, created an excellent cheer, led us in a “repeat after me” cheer, organized a friendly egg relay competition and got us in the mood for a great event coming up on Friday, May 19th. Additionally, 3 of our 3rd graders performed an original SJF spirit song - thanks Maren, Fiona and Alaina!
