SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Wanted to Know Week of 10-28-24 A NOTE LIBBY RANKIN, 2024-25 PTC PRESIDENT: Dear Parents, It’s hard to believe it’s almost November! Molly and I are excited for everything that lies ahead this school year. As we move forward, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to everyone in this amazing community. Your involvement—whether attending events or volunteering—means so much to us, and we appreciate your ongoing support.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Wanted To Know Week of 10-21-24 A NOTE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL: As we wrap up October, we have a number of events planned I wanted to bring to your attention: Mon, 10/21-Fri, 10/25: Scholastic Book Fair will be open in the school lobby after school and during conferences and classes have arranged times to visit the fair during the day as well. Should you choose to have your student purchase their books while they visit the fair during the school day, the easiest way to pay for books during the day is by using the ewallet system located HERE or via cash. Thanks for supporting a love of reading! Tues, 10/22: Cardinal Club meeting tonight at 7pm! Come meet with our families and help plan/organize our upcoming community events such as the Christmas Bazaar, Week of Giving and Parent’s Night Out! See you there! Thursday, 10/24 and Fri, 10/25: This Thursday and Friday are our annual parent/teacher conference days. Our front doors will be open on Thursday from 7:30am-10:30am, 12:00pm-2:00pm and 5:00pm-8:00pm and on Friday from 7:30am-10:30am. All families are asked to enter via the front doors to check in and pick up their child’s midterm progress report and STAR assessment scores. Then, parents can make their way to the following locations: PreK: library Kindergarten - 5th Grade: homeroom classroom 6th - 8th: Corrado Family Center. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Wanted To Know Week of 10-14-24 A NOTE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL: This Friday, we will have our first service project when students have the opportunity to wear “free dress” with a free will offering for the Hurricane Helene Response Fund through Catholic Charities. We will be making 1 large donation on behalf of St. John Fisher so children are welcome to bring cash or check made out to St. John Fisher School. Thanks for your support!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Wanted To Know Week of 10-07-24 A NOTE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL Conferences are right around the corner (Thursday, 10/24 and Friday, 10/25). These dedicated days provide valuable time for us to follow our mission in partnering with families. To help with scheduling appointments, we will be using Google Forms to have families sign up for their conference time(s). Conference sign up links for all teachers will be sent via email this Wednesday, 10/9 at 6pm to allow families the opportunity to sign up after working hours. Please complete your conference sign up by noon next Wednesday, 10/16.

Studies show that having students practice what to do in an emergency situation will help prepare them if/when an emergency situation happens. Therefore, we have a number of safety drills we conduct to keep our school safe.
