SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT MEMO - Everything You Wanted To Know Week of February 26, 2024 A NOTE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL This past weekend our pastor of 12 years, Father Richard Thompson, announced his retirement. Fr. Richard leaves a great legacy of service to our parish and school community. Hallmarks of his time here that will last many years include the successful Growing to Serve Capital Campaign which remodeled our school, built our Corrado Family Center and remodeled the rectory, and construction and opening of our new preschool. He’s celebrated the sacraments with many of our students and for them, he’s most likely one of the few priests they have known. So much to celebrate and we are so thankful for his time at SJF.

Thank you SJF families for all your support with our Cardinal Week of Giving. With over 92% family participation, we surpassed our goal and raised over $120,000, meeting our match of $55,000! Final fundraising totals are still rolling in from sales at the event including easel parties. Some slots in easel parties remain so feel free to stop by the lobby this week before or after school to sign up for events like the Around the World Dinner (June 8, 2024), 3rd - 6th grade girls sleepover (Sept 6, 2024), Tacos and Tequila (Sept 6, 2024) or Ice Skating and Cocoa with the Winterhawks (January, 2025).
