I grew up in Greater L.A., attended Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, and graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2017. Although I had volunteered in elementary and middle school classrooms throughout my high school years, it took me until my freshman year of college at St. Mary’s College of California to understand that I was being led to education.
That said, I graduated college as a History major with Spanish and Theology minors and a leadership distinction. Post undergrad, I trained as an Autism Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist and accepted my first job teaching first grade as a teacher of record in Klamath Falls. During that time, I completed my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education from Western Governors University as well as my Oregon Teaching Credential. I have student taught, substitute taught and taught grades Pre-K through 1st grade.
When I am not teaching, you will find me cheering on my Dodgers, hanging out with my puppy, or camping, hiking, traveling with my family.
