I joined SJF in the fall of 2023 as the Academic Support Coordinator and couldn’t be happier to be part of such an amazing community! I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Journalism and English and then earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College. I have enjoyed teaching middle school Language Arts and Social Studies at several schools including Lake Oswego Junior High and Holy Trinity. After teaching for almost 15 years, I took a break in 2014 to focus on my real estate business.
My husband and I raised our two children in Catholic schools and believe strongly in the value of Catholic education. They have since graduated from college and moved out on their own. The house seemed to grow quieter and I realized how much I missed working with kids. I am thrilled to be back in education and working at such a great school.
I enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, and playing tennis and pickleball in my free time. My husband and I are also trying to visit every national park in the US.
